Katie Davis

Katie Davis is a mixed media painter whose work blends together a love of domestic textiles, paper, and paint. Her color palette and visual language has become a unique voice and is in direct relationship with her materials.

With an interest in feminism and women's mental health, Katie uses materials that are readily available in the home and also draws on contemporary interior design to inform her color choice. With these tools, she weaves together work that is whimsical and poignant. Katie also relies on her personal experience of postpartum depression, mothering a child with autism, and the strength and creative power of other women to inform her work.”
