Melissa Fox, Dense Nostalgia
High Flow Acrylic & Acrylic Ink on Stretched Canvas, 30” x 30”
The artist on the piece: “This piece carries the weight of memory, the way the past sometimes settles over us like a heavy haze. The muted palette reflects how remembering can feel familiar yet unreachable, like fog slipping through your fingers.
Dense Nostalgia was part of an exhibit called Weathered Emotions. It is about the in-between space of reflection, where beauty and melancholy live side by side. A reminder that as humans we are layered, holding onto what has been while still moving toward what's ahead.”

“I am a self-taught artist based out of Delaware, OH that has actively been creating since 2019. I use a mix of fluid mediums to make paint flow and dance across the canvas to stir up emotions and speak to your soul in a way that transcends language.”
